Length of Course: 1 days / 8 hours (10 credits)

Card Expiration: This cards does not have an expiration date but retraining is recommended a minimum of every 4 years.

Note: This is an awareness course to help the worker understand OSHA’s minimum safety requirements for using, erecting, or dissembling scaffolds. It is not a certification course.

As per OSHA 1926 subpart L.454 (scaffolding) training requirements:

(a) the employer shall have each employee who performs work on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffolding being used and to understand the procedures to control those hazards.

(b) the employer shall have each employee who is involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question.

The training covers OSHA 1926 subpartsL (scaffolds).
